general terms & conditions for lavendera
terms & conditions apply to our done-for-you laundry service.
- all prices are GST inclusive.
- all items in the bag are washed and dried together. lavendera washes by the load and cannot always inspect the care labels of each garment. so please ensure all contents of the bag can be washed and dried together.
- lavendera will not sort clothing by colours; this is the customers responsibility. similarly, it is the customers responsibility to sort general clothing from household laundry items, such as tea towels, bath towels, bed sheet, etc.
- customers have the responsibility to check if items are suitable for tumble drying; lavendera will not take responsibility for shrinkages.
- customers have the responsibility to check pockets for any loose items, hazardous materials, such as, but not limited to, pins, jewellery, coins, keys, and pens, as lavendera holds no responsibility for any items that are lost or damaged as a result of the cleaning process.
- customers provide washing and drying preferences (ie hot or cold wash, high or low drying temperature) during online ordering. if no preferences are entered, the standard will be cold wash and medium dry.
- additional extras like laundry soaking agent, fabric softener, and stain remover are optional, and come with an extra cost.
- we will measure your laundry by weight during pick-up. the minimum weight is 8kg.
- if you don’t have access to a weighing scale, put in the minimum order (8kg). we will adjust your payment (charged on your card, saved in our system) once we have the exact weight of your laundry.
